Bonk?
This curious word caught my eye, and I’m sure your guess is as good as mine, but upon a little investigation, it turns out that “Bonk” is the title of a book about sex by Mary Roach. Of course it is. I should have known. This article at AlterNet tells all about it. The book is filled with lots of surprising, funny and amazing facts that Roach gathered while she was investigating the science of sex. This one will grab your attention (at least it did mine):
“Consider the British study that found 351 terms for penis, including "the one-eyed milkman," but only three for the clitoris, which by the way doubles in size when stimulated and is far more erogenous than the penis.”
This book will find its way into my library. You can never learn too much about sex. Whether you like it or not. It’s No. 10 on the New York Times list of non fiction best sellers. Seems as though the subject of sex never gets old. Even if you don’t want to buy the book, be sure and check out the article. It’s good?
