After spending years conducting quantitative and qualitative market research on what women want and what we’re not getting, the conclusion came to one simple statement: Every woman needs her own wife. Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone who provided emotional, professional and day-to-day task support for us, like we do for everyone else? This is the reason the Cavalry Club exists.

This is a venue for every woman: entrepreneurs, corporate professionals, domestic goddesses, moms, muses and miracle workers...aren't we we all? Prepare to be acknowledged, accepted and supported while learning something and about someone new.

Meeting Guidelines:

When: Meetings will be held bi-monthly on Thursday's from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Frequency: 2008 Meeting Schedule: April 3, June 5, August 7, October 2 and December 4.

Where: The Del Mar Inn, 720 Camino Del Mar, Del Mar, Ca 92014 (858) 755-9765

Investment: Meeting fees for the Cavalry Club allow for a discount (making it $50 per meeting) when you register for all four meetings in 2008. Otherwise, each meeting is $55. Registration is transferable to a guest, should you not be able to attend within the calendar year.

Format: Each meeting will include introductions from each participant as an opportunity to share about you, your business or to make a request for something you want or need . Additionally, there will be 2 five minute scheduled showcases from Cavalry Club Members and one attendee will also be selected randomly to share information about their business. A platform also exists for personal and professional needs i.e., babysitting needs, pet care needs, doctor recommendations, travel suggestions, job referrals, etc., local events and community "giving back."

Each meeting will also include a collaborative discussion about a particular topic and will result in tips, techniques and suggestions to help us live more effortlessly.

Why Attend: What makes the Cavalry Club different? As women, we have ever changing, needs and interests. We don't just network at the Cavalry Club meetings. We're here to provide a balanced variety of provocative topics and speakers (sometimes even men). We will talk about books, fashion, beauty, giving back, spirituality, romance, 'going green', the latest scene, and everything in between. We will have cheese with our wine and a little chocolate to make it more divine.
